Eric Tomb talks with Indian-American novelist, poet and children's writer Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni about her latest novel Palace of Illusions, a retelling of the ancient Indian epic Mahabharat from the point of view of Panchaali (aka Draupadi), one of the main female characters. He then talks with Boston Globe columnist Alex Beam about A Great Idea at the Time, the book he is writing about the Great Books movement. This is the fourth of a series of conversations tracing the development of the book over the past two years. Eric and Alex will talk again when the book is published in November.
